[SOLVED] Windows 10 Temporary Files incorrect size, filling up SSD

Copper Contributor

Hi All,

i'm noticing this strange behaviour.

My 500GB is filling up, rapidly  so i took a look at win 10 storage and it comes out this :

Looking into temporary files it shows:

2.JPG

which is not "exactly" 282 GB. :))

I checked windows logs, temp etc and are all empty or with few Kb files.

Any Suggestion?

OS level is :

thanks in advance

Claudio

******UPDATE*****

I solved installing WinDirStat tool.

It showed a 282GB of something named like $20957025702752052 in Recycle Bin.

CCleaner did not even noticed somehow....

I deleted it via WindDirStat and regained space.
