Printer Not Listed

I have purchased a new laptop

When I try and add my printer via control panel a list does not appear in” Choose an advice or printer to add to this PC. “

It searches but nothing comes up in the list.

I have tried when printer is connected and not connected

My printer is a Brother MFC685CW

Edition Windows 10 Home
Version 20H2
Installed on ‎12/‎04/‎2021
OS build 19042.928
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

How it is being connected?
Is it using LAN, Wi-Fi or USB?
