Using a monitor in portrait mode is nice... but pretty troublesome. Unlike the regular landscape mode, side snapping is pretty unusable as the width of the window is just too short to use. So I propose you this: When a display is in portrait mode, how about having top and bottom snapping to automatically resize the window to the top half or the bottom half of the screen? That would be much more useful than side snaps.
