Monitor Detection via USB-C

Copper Contributor

Hello -

I am currently trying to setup monitors to my laptop via Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock and have no luck with monitor detection.  The mouse and keyboard are detected and working via dock but when I go to detect the monitors it does not work.

I have tried downloading all recent CPU/GPU graphic drivers, dock driver and USB drivers with no luck.

I am running WIndows 10 version 1903, my laptop is an ASUS, and the monitors are Acer V226WL which seem to be on the older side.

Anyone know anything about this issue or any recommendations?  I ordered a DVI to HDMI converter which is on the way in the mean time to see if I can plug monitor directly into laptop to work.

Many thanks for any help in advance!
