Hoping to get a little fresh help on this problem.
I have 2 new Asus laptops, same models, same install media (both had SSD upgraded and new, clean Win10 installed)
One of the lappies runs mostly fine; the other however will not refresh the File Explorer, unless i hit F5 or the refresh button. If I plug in an external USB drive, I have to hit F5 for the drive to show. If I create a new folder (on the external USB or the internal drive) I have to hit F5 for the list to update.
I found a previous discussion about adding the DontRefresh with either a DWORD or QWORD (both being mutually exclusive) of "0" in the Registry but it makes no difference.
I have tried several external drives and in all 4 USB ports with no luck. On the second laptop, the drive is plugged in and instantly appears.
Anyone have thoughts?
