Hello!
I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this issue. I work in technical support and I'm currently using the Event Viewer to check when the last time users logged in to our network PCs. After some time, Event Viewer will just freeze and stop responding, and I have to end the MMC task to get it to close. After I reopen it, the same thing, it will work for a little while, but randomly stop responding and I have to kill the process.
I've already made sure my computer has all the recent Windows updates, and ran /sfc, which it did find and fix some errors. No problems when running DISM either.
I appreciate all the advice, because this is so annoying when I'm trying to do a lot of searching!
