Disabling the lock screen after a length of inactivity

Iron Contributor

Yesterday I reinstalled Windows 10. At one point I left my PC for an hour or so. The lock screen came on, so I had to unlock it. In a work environment, that's fine. But here at home, I don't want it. How do I disable that?

Hello,

You can go to Settings app > Accounts > Sign-in options. Under Require sign-in, set it to Never

Nope - that doesn't work.

I have disabled it. "Require sign-in" is set to Never
Dynamic Lock is unchecked

I have a "local" account.  Is this my penalty for not kowtowing to Microsoft?
