I bought a brand-new Gateway GWTN-9BL laptop on Black Friday. I got it delivered on Monday Nov. (completely factory sealed BTW). I plugged it in and went thru the setup process. While all this was either going on or over, I can't remember (69), II went online to Microsoft and bought a Windows 10 Pro upgrade which I saw was 'pending' when I logged off Made sense - downloads take time.
I finally figured out that something was wrong after a day or so and I finally found out 'pending' displayed because Gateway provided an incorrect Product Key. I finally was able to get ahold of a guy in Customer Service on December 02 and I'm still waiting for a new product key.
My question is my WIN 10 Pro upgrade now says purchased NOT pending. Does this mean my next problem will be: Where Pro? Thanks in advance for any help.
