bring back Thumbnail for SVG icon by windows explorer

a couple of days ago suddenly I opened Internet Explorer and as I'm a UI designer I have to work with SVG icons. its thumbnails showed by windows explorer but now it's changing to Internet Explorer and shows internet explorer icon.

someone from Microsoft support remoted to my PC but he didn't know anything about this problem.

Hi,
which version of Windows 10 are you running on?
did the problem suddenly happen? i.e did it start to happen after a change in Windows settings or after uninstalling/reinstalling a specific software?
also do a full scan using Windows Defender, maybe it's malware related.
