After installing kb4598242 the Microsoft Remote Desktop client v10.2.1646.0 does not work

After installing kb4598242 the Microsoft Remote Desktop client (app store version) v10.2.1646.0 does not work.  It connects to the host but will not get past the "Configuring remote PC..." message.  It just times out and closes.

The issue was corrected after they updated the Microsoft Remote Desktop app from the Microsoft app store.
