Hi,

when will we see this option and are there any plans to allow other authenticator apps aswell?

The perferred sign-in method for the future is Windows Hello for Business, which is a two factors of authentication.  This is the functionally equivalent to password and using an authenticator app.  We are investigating portable credentials, such using a phone and other devices, to understand the correct user experience, provisioning, and management.

Any timeline for when this is GA?

+1 for Yubikeys!

Not at this time. But may customers are interested and enthusiastic about shared computing and portable credentials-- so it is very high in the list.
Yes, Stephen-- Yubikeys are part of that investigation and coincide with the work that Microsoft is doing as part of FIDO.
But just to be clear on my question: Windows Hello for Business, was that GA and have I then totally missed it? :)
