Coming soon: End user opt-out admin controls

A new capability for admins offers more choice and control to end users. When enabled, the setting allows end users to opt out of their metrics being included in line-level queries. As a result, their user metrics are not available in advanced insights queries, even in a deidentified way. Organizational collaboration insights are generated by a Viva Insights analyst using a custom query, and line-level user metrics are always deidentified. This feature will be available worldwide starting in December 2022. Read more about this change in our latest blog.

Coming soon: MyAnalytics dashboard retirement

With Viva Insights in Teams and on the web becoming the central place for personal insights, we’re retiring the MyAnalytics dashboard by mid-December. You’ll start to see notes within our existing documentation early this month. Learn more about this change here: MyAnalytics dashboard retirement, redirects, and V... - Microsoft Viva Insights Community.

Meeting effectiveness surveys

We’ve just released meeting effectiveness surveys worldwide. Premium-licensed users can find this feature in their Effective meetings tab within the Viva Insights app in Teams and on the web. With meeting effectiveness surveys, you can view aggregated feedback from attendees on the meetings you organized. These surveys help you gain insight into what’s going well with your meetings, and what you could improve in future meetings, to promote a healthy meeting culture.
