I am trying to generate a box diagram from an imported Excel file in Visio (I am using Visio Professional 2016 Desktop app). The diagram should consist of several boxes contained within each other based on parent/child relationship (parent contains several child boxes).
We have different levels of Parent/child relationships (i.e. we expect to have a view similar to the one in the attached screenshot). The data should be read from an Excel file that we import in Visio.
I checked online, there are several predefined Visio diagrams available with the same logic of Parent/child (i.e. Organization chart), but none displays the view we need (boxes inside containers).
Any suggestions on a way to do this?
