Want to learn about Microsoft Teams Governance, Security, and Compliance options?  During our April Tech Talk we’ll present a high-level overview of things to consider as you rollout Microsoft Teams to your organization.  Built on Office 365, Microsoft Teams has settings to consider in underlying services that can be utilized to ensure organizations have a governance strategy in place from day one. Teams has grown to over 44 Million daily users, so let us share some best practices with you on your Teams journey.

EVENT SPEAKER BIO:
Terry Lyons is a Microsoft Teams Premier Field Engineer.  Terry works in an Office 365 Pod supporting about 10 customers spanning several different industries.  He started in IT when he enlisted in the US Air Force in 1990 and stationed in Colorado, Alaska, and Arizona.  Terry joined Microsoft in 1999 as an IIS Support Engineer at the Charlotte, NC site.  He has also worked at MSN International Operations in London, England.  After returning to Charlotte to supported Exchange Server and eventually LCS/OCS/Lync/Skype, he left Microsoft in 2014 to move to Colorado where he was working on Live Site Operations Team for Lync Online.  Here in Colorado Terry worked for a Healthcare IT company and a Construction/Engineering firm as an Exchange and Skype Admin.  He returned to Microsoft in June 2018 and this past January celebrated 16 years at the company.

@Art Hogarth Sorry if I missed this. Is there a way to see the presentations or the slide deck if we were unable to attend the live session?

@Jamie_Weller Unfortunately, this deck contained some material that we can not share publicly at this time.  I have heard that there may be a repeat of this session due to the topic and its popularity.   Stay tuned to the Community Calendar for updates on new sessions.  We will post it there as well as on the Community blog.
