EVENT ABSTRACT:
With the impending sunset of Skype for Business Online in July of 2021, forward-thinking organizations of all sizes are looking closely at the transition from Skype for Business Online to Microsoft Teams. During this presentation, we will discuss the paths available from SfBO to Microsoft Teams, the assets provided to your users by Microsoft Teams’ deep integration with Office 365 Groups, and the governance controls available to you to secure those assets.

EVENT SPEAKER BIO:
William Dingle is a Customer Engineer at Microsoft, based in Charlotte, NC. After a 3-year role as an Engineer and Skype for Business/Teams SME in the FastTrack Center, William transitioned to his current role in October of 2018. He is a Microsoft Certified Teams Administrator Associate and Microsoft Certified Teamwork Administrator Associate. He specializes in supporting multiple facets of the Microsoft 365 productivity suite, assisting customers with Exchange Online and Security & Compliance issues in addition to Microsoft Teams. He is a member of the Executive Board for the Charlotte chapter of Blacks at Microsoft and is passionate about fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for all people to thrive in.
