Meetings first mode

We are just starting our migration to Teams, have a hybrid Skype environment where most of our 60k users are skype on-prem and we are focused on moving our users into Teams Meetings First mode.  Part of our migration process to move the on-prem users to Meetings first involves moving/homing in SfBO first then to Meetings First.  As we are preparing our migration timelines, I have some questions about modes/behaviors come July 2021 with Skype Online end-of-life:

What happens to the Meetings First mode?  Can we still migrate users to that mode?

For users in Meetings First mode, will Enterprise Voice stop working for the Meetings first users?  How about chat?

If we have users homed in Skype Online and in Teams collaboration only mode, what happens to them?  Are they no longer able to schedule meetings?  What about their chat and calling (assuming they are EV)?

Hi,

- Nothing said that it will be removed, what I know about. But if you move users from Skype for Business On-Premises to Skype for Business Online they will be migrated to Teams Only when Skype Online is end-of-life. But users hosted in Skype for Business server environment  will be able to use their Skype on-premises account together with Teams in "Skype for Business with Teams Collaboration and Meetings" coexistence mode.

- When you move them from Skype for Business Server to Skype for Business Online, Enterprise Voice won't stop working if you have prepared Skype Online for EV. Chat and EV will still work in Skype until 2021 when users have to be moved/will be moved to Teams.

- When you activate a user in Meeting firsts mode in Teams and they still have a Skype for Business server account, then EV will still work in Skype and chat will work in Skype. Users will be able to use Teams for meetings and collaboration.

- After July 31st they will be moved to Teams, then you can't use Skype for Business for them anymore if you don't move them back to Skype server.

- Whey will be able to schedule Teams meetings, since they are in coexistence mode "Skype for Business with Teams Collaboration and Meetings". After 2021 they will be in Teams Only mode and can still schedule Teams meetings.

- If they are in Skype for Business Online after July 31st (or when Skype for Business Online really will be end-of-life) and you haven't moved them to Teams they will automatic be moved to Teams. You should then have prepared Teams for your Enterprise Voice setup. Since they will be Teams Only (since there is no Skype Online after the end-of-life date) they will use Chat in Teams.
