Universal Print Scaling

Copper Contributor

Hi All,

We are currently using 3 brands of label printers (I understand they are not officially supported)

Datamax O'Neill, Toshiba and Zebra.

When printing via Business Central we select custom paper size for these label printers. The prints were printing correctly until around 2 weeks ago. Now all the prints looks like they have been shrunk. Is there way to disable scaling within universal print. I have also tried the universal print scaling options:

Auto

Auto Fit

Fill

Fit

but it has not made a difference. Microsoft support suggested I post here in case someone may have a solution.

Thank You!

@keeron / @Philip_Demaree - any thoughts here?

Can you message me with your CSS case/ticket number? Can follow up offline with any recommendations that may help you in this scenario.
Thanks

Finally got it working with Philip's help.

These are the settings that worked for me:

To resolve the issue, download and install the latest Connector from this link - https://aka.ms/UPConnectorMSI-Canary

Run the following commands in an elevated Powershell window:

C:\windows\PrintConnectorSvc\UpdateConnectorConfigJson.ps1 -Feature Connector -Name "enable-all-supported-pdf-job-attributes" -Value "false"

Enable Hybrid AD configuration in Universal Print Connector App.
