Unlike nearly the whole of Azure for some inexplicable reason to just administrate Universal Printing the account must have a licence for UP. Please remove this requirement but by all means prevent the account from using the service normally - why is a licence needed?   We have a corporate policy that all Azure admin accounts are separate to any user account i.e. as Global Admin I have my day to day account and my separate Azure admin account for performing administration in Azure/M365. Currently, the Universal Print configuration profile in Intune only supports user-context printer installs. This means that we can only target user groups and not device groups. I work in higher education and we have many computer labs, each with their own printer. We need the printer to be installed automatically for every user that logs into the machines in the computer lab.   All of our users that log in to the machines are licensed for Universal Print. This request is to create an Intune policy to install the UP printer for all users of a particular device. I've seen the other post Support for SharedPC mode / Guest user regarding kiosk and guest users. We manage 99% Connector printers. However, some of our currently installed models could probably be updated to be UP Ready printers when serviced by on site technicians.   It would be fantastic if the Universal Print Portal could poll the information of an already installed Connector Printer to check if the printer is UP Ready maybe just like it polls the Printer defaults of a UP Ready printer (%Printername% -> Printer Properties -> Printer defaults) today.   This way we would be able to identify UP Ready printers already in our environment in the Universal Print Portal instead of having to check each printers webgui manually leading to a faster move from the Connector Server to being fully serverless. ...
