The WVD team might know more about whether a printer can be redirected from the host.
What I know is that you can install cloud printers on the PC where the WVD client is running and have them be redirected to the user session. That's what I do :)
We are working on better support for UP in WVD. If this is important to you, please upvote the WVD feature request if you haven't already.
