Universal Print + AAD DS

Reading the documentation for UP it states that a device / VM should be AAD joined / Hybrid AAD to be able to add a printer shared via UP.

Is UP supported in a cloud only scenario where a VM is AAD DS joined?

@Embassy1 The only identity requirement is that users are AAD joined or registered. AAD DS should work fine as long as it's backed by AAD licenses.

  1. Printing from an AAD DS-joined VM will work.
  2. Registering printers using a connector installed on an AAD DS-joined VM should work, but is not a scenario we've explicitly tested.
