Icons are intended to provide visual cues to people. When the same icon is on every tile then they don't serve any purpose and just take up space. An example of this is shown below, each tile has the same icon.
I would like to suggest that those icons be removed, this will make the tiles smaller and provide room for more useful content on the screen.
