Addition of a new space - Following

In the Microsoft Tech Community, a user can follow another user and another user can also do the same, but there is no meaning in doing that. So, I am suggesting adding a new space in the Microsoft Tech Community called Following. This space: Can be accessed by clicking an icon in the navigation bar(same as notifications). Shows new posts added by the user who another user is following.

There doesn't seem to be a community solely for .net development. Can we create one? Or have I just missed it? Maybe a separate one for .net core also?

I noticed in private messages, the design is changed and now we can do this without leaving the page: (which is accessing the full toolbar for post editing/submission) but on posts and topics, we can't do that. the quick reply only offers this: please apply the same design to quick reply in posts. sometimes I only need to add an image to a post and for that I have to reload the whole page again. it also saves time to have access to the full toolbar in quick reply. Thanks.

Currently, we could report posts and comments which are abusive but we don't have option to report abusive profile. Sometimes, the user might not directly submit abusive posts but series of behavior of user in community could be abusive like following a user around or posting multiple spams and instead of reporting each post, it would be better to report entire profile, so posts will be checked by moderators.

Hi, Can we include a feature to outlook app for iOS/Android to mark an email as "VIP". It's the same feature that we have in native mail app on iOS and i have seen customers asking for this feature when standardrizing their mail apps to outlook across the board. Thanks. This website feels like you are in 2007 with 2012 design - everything is flat and page reloads at every click on any link. I respect the effort you Microsoft developers put into this portal, but also we need to rethink some aspects that becoming problems, like navigation inside this website. Every major website on Internet has: SPA means no page reload at any a[href] that leads to inner resources; Lazy load; Virtual scrolling; Infinite page (debatable, I'm against it personally, pagination is better). Thanks for info and have a nice day, would be grateful if you put this suggesstion in your backlog. P. S. Further feedbacks are different from this one, will be posted separately.

Right now notifications are persistant, and you can't dismiss them, even after viewing them. Can you add a 'dismiss' notification option, or at the very least clear them once they're clicked on? Thanks!

I can filter the Idea Cards to show New ideas, but it does not display when they were submitted. For example, after opening a card, i can see that it was actually submitted in July ( I don't consider this New). It would be helpful if we could see the submittal date in this scenario.

It seems like some spaces have discussions and Blogs, but I can't figure out how to find out which communities have blogs. It would helpful if there was directory or some way to easily scan through all of the blogs so that we could decide which ones we would like to Favorite

Please fix the process that causes text to get truncated in the middle of a word/line. As shown below, the text stops in the middle of the line and possibly in the middle of a word. Text wrapping has worked correctly in documents and on web pages for many years. The fact that it does not work in this platform is hard to understand. MS should ask for their money back from the vendor. Basic functionaliyt like this should not require coding changes and bug fixes.

The font color in the headings is so light that it can barely be read, see below. Gray on white is not a good combination for many people . Please use darker fonts on light backgrounds

That's been already discussed here how are calculated conversations, threads, etc. I still can't understand what "Comments 0 (1 New)" means. But now about the bug. I marked "... all as Read" on group and received (-2) unread posts (or conversations?). In a while returned back, refreshed - same minus 2.

As shown in the attached screen shot, sometimes the UI does not contain any navigation techniques for moving to another post. There should be some links to the Next Conversation. This needs to be fixed.

2nd level groups need to have a name that differentiates them from their Parent. As shown in the image below, the Exchange group contains another Exchange group, this will cause a lot of confusion, the 2nd level (sub group) needs to be renamed to better indicate how it is intended to be used.

The first view of a thread you get is the summary view, but you don't appear to be able to like posts or easily reply to them from the summary view. It puts an extra barrier between you and community contribution. Can we fix?
