The inspiration for this idea came from the Community Manager's response:   "  We report to our product teams regularly on posts that are still awaiting replies, there is no 'flagging' of these posts available to users. We are still trying to get our 'Community insider' initative off the ground which may give the opportunity for a select group of key influencers an opportunity to flag discussions that are needing a reply but until then feel free to flag any pressing topics in the community discussion area.   "                                                                                                                                                    as often confirmed responses by users are missing, or from the Microsoft team – the MTC Community Insider Group -> could mark responses as a solution, or add responses as MTC Insider. Hi,   I noticed spam posts with a similar pattern like language, containing specific text or number and using smart mechanism it is possible to block them. Currently, the spammer will post, and we have to report as abuse, or the forum moderator should watch to take action. It would be nice if forum has a mechanism where it detects a post behaving like spam, then automatically suspend the user and hide the post and notify the moderator so they take action to either permit it or mark is as spam and remove it. ... Hi,   Sometimes, we observe a behavior which we believe this is a bug in the website. It is actually not a new idea but something which is not working. Currently, we could post a question in the discussion and someone from the Microsoft Technical Community will follow up. It would be nice if there is a form (e.g. inside Microsoft form) to report bug related to the Microsoft Technical Community and it ask details like how to reproduce it, location , expected result and actual result and it be in more professional way rather than a free form.     ... When I try to use the "@" to mention someone, the list of people disappears very quickly which makes it hard to get the right name. Other sites don't behave like this. It would be nice if something could be done to adjust that UX functionality. ... View more

Any type of member it is, a Community Manager, Microsoft employee, MVP or normal a user needs to type the same sentence or a paragraph many times in posting various conversations or replies which wastes a lot of time. So, I am suggesting a feature in Microsoft Tech Community where a user can save a sentence or a paragraph in the user's profile page and can use it whenever the user wants when posting a conversation or a reply which would be available in the toolbar and when clicked would show the saved sentences in a menu.  A button in the toolbar when clicked would show the saved sentences in a menu.       ... I noticed in private messages, the design is changed and now we can do this without leaving the page: (which is accessing the full toolbar for post editing/submission)       but on posts and topics, we can't do that. the quick reply only offers this:     please apply the same design to quick reply in posts. sometimes I only need to add an image to a post and for that I have to reload the whole page again. it also saves time to have access to the full toolbar in quick reply. It would be really great if we could have an RSS feed that aggregates all articles from all the blogs.   As of today there are 115 blogs in the tech community. I'm an avid read and it just isn't manageable to add them all one-by-one to my news aggregator. When an idea is approved or rolled out is the option to "Upvote" that idea needed any longer? The reason i say this is because I'm a little confused as to what the community wants to use the Upvote button for. I think it is a great way to vote or agree with an idea that should be implemented. Once the idea has been accepted or completed I don't see the point in voting it up any longer. Perhaps the Upvote is getting me confused with how we usually "like" ideas we see regardless of the status. With that said i think Upvote and Like don't have the same meaning.   Here is what I think they mean: Upvote = Good idea they should approve and roll this out. I can filter the Idea Cards to show New ideas, but it does not display when they were submitted. For example, after opening a card, i can see that it was actually submitted in July ( I don't consider this New). It would be helpful if we could see the submittal date in this scenario. ... View more
