As a regular speaker and a visitor to SPS Events around Europe, twitter seems to be the default channel where you can interact with SPS Events organisers, speakers (or their blogs) and attendees. Above all, to access the presentation slides, videos, etc, you have to be following these people through other social channels. The users picture seems to actually have two purposes and they conflict making one of them difficult to reach.   Hovering over the picture brings up some information, clicking brings up different though somewhat overlapping information. However, if you aren't quite quick enough, the hover box triggers then you click to get the sidebar but the hover box does not go away and I can't find a way to make it go away without having to cancel everything and start again - very annoying.   One of the most common reasons for triggering the sidebar is to try and find out what updates you have so why not include that in the hover box and make it clickable so you need the sidebar less. The quick reply feature submits back to the server and displays an update box but does not actually update the current display - this is like web design from 5+ years ago, has nobody in the design team heard of dynamic web design, REACT/Angular or even Knockout?   So if I click on the link to update the page, the page fully reloads and takes me to the top - Urgh! How is this meant to encourage dynamic interaction or facilitate natural communication? Even old-fashioned web forums had this sorted years ago.   Indeed, the whole site is in dire need of some dynamism and if this is supposed to be a good advert for the Lithuim plaftorm, I'm afraid it fails badly. ...
