As said in the title, the quote on the home screen looks bigger than the actual text in a reply as shown in the screenshot below, whereas the quote should have been smaller than the actual text.

Yeah, it's great to have larger text but what I am telling here is that the quote over here unnecessarily looks too large which should be made small to the main text. This does not mean that the quote should be made smaller than the current size of the main text, which would make it illegible. This is my feedback, it is in the hands of the Dev team whether they can redesign the whole thing or do some minor changes to make it look better.
@TheShaunSaw HI
You can definitely install a button - a switch that will minimize
quote to the first line and click - will fully expand the quoted text - I see this possibility of improvement , does not bother me minimally larger
the text of the citation, which is due to the format in which it is made available, it may remain so.

You could do something like this with the 'Spoiler tag' but I take the feedback. What is it we want here a smaller quote, a quote with smaller line spacing or something that only shows the first x characters in the quote?
Going to move this to the Ideas board.
It would be great if the quoted text worked like a spoiler - tag, just the first line
- which can be expanded:

Such an improvement and unification really makes sense!
Currently not supported by the platform, we will consider it after an upcoming update which will give us more control over the UI
