When I try to use the "@" to mention someone, the list of people disappears very quickly which makes it hard to get the right name. Other sites don't behave like this. It would be nice if something could be done to adjust that UX functionality.
Of course I agree with you!
To correctly choose the right link to the MTC Member, you need time to find and choose the right one - (it seems most appropriate to make it work as in e-mail programs)
I support that.

Thanks for the feedback, there is allot going on to make @mentions work but its also not implemented in exactly the same way in the full editor as it is in the quick reply. Would you say you feedback is true for both?
@Dean Gross Where are we with this? Is it still an issue?
@Allen thanks for checking, it seems to be working better. Your name showed up and I was able to easily select it, but when I try to add another name it took many (about 10 seconds) for the names to start showing up so that I could type enough letters to find a person.
I checked in the editor full of text - it works properly, but a quick response is still a problem - maybe it is my settings that block?
I have looked at this, at the moment it's as fast as we can make it so I am going to close this idea as completed. That said, I still would like it to be much quicker and I am hoping we can achieve that with the new skin and tech coming later this year.
