Accepting your own answer or is it appropriate?

Hello everyone!

Now I have received an inquiry from MTC, which asks if I received an answer that solved my problem?

How to behave - if only I, as the author answered, and my post was information, and was not a question! 

Please advise me - what to do in such a situation.
