Notifications not showing up on mobile

Copper Contributor

Hey all!

We have a problem of sending notifications to mobile devices. Our notifications work perfectly on desktop but when it comes to mobile, they are nowhere to be seen. I attached some images, one from desktop, one from mobile. The top two activities on desktop don’t show up on mobile.

Even stranger this problem only happens on our production app. The test app seems to be working with no problems.

Our manifests are same for the test and production. Checked all the permisions, nothing...

Appreciate all the help we can get.

We are mainly responsible for Microsoft Teams app development related issues.

For Microsoft Teams product issues/failures your tenant Admin can reach out to Microsoft 365 Product Support.

For general questions about Microsoft Teams please post your question on Microsoft Teams Community.

May be I wasn't clear. We are the developers of this Teams App and we are having this problem. Our app is not able to send notifications to mobile.

@egetunca - Could you please share any sample code or repro steps so that we can test it from our end ?

Should I direct msg to you or share it here?
Please do share in this thread along with repro steps.

@egetunca - We tried to repro the issue using the app and credentials provided . It sending notification in Teams desktop/web client but not in mobile clients as mentioned.
Could you please provide any other user cred for that tenant, so that we can check that scenario as well?
Also could you please make sure if there is any admin settings disabled for your app/user/tenant?

FYI, we have tested this below sample and sent notification, it is working as expected i.e. sending notification in both Teams desktop/web and mobile client.

Our issue was resolved by another Microsoft product group. It was a matter of whitelisting our app... Thank you for your help. @Prasad_Das-MSFT
