Is it possible (if at all) to call a local installed application (on both Windows and Mac) from some client side script embedded in a card ? And, also detect whether an application is installed and running and, if so, bring it to the front from a card action?
Or is it that client script, when embedded inside a bot tab or card, runs inside a “sandbox” and it can’t access the desktop (Windows Registry or Mac Apps) to detect whether an application is installed and/or running? If so, what is the recommendation in order to do that? Likely if the locally installed application registers as a protocol handler, then it might be possible to launch it?
