Build a Teams App that requests information from user and sends email to SMTP endpoint.

Hello. I have been asked to build a Teams App that uses an Adaptive Card to capture information form a user then send the info in an email to an SMTP endpoint.

The Adaptive Card needs to load as soon as a user adds the app.

Everything I have found online in my searches says to use a Power Automate flow to post the card and wait for the input, but we really don't want to do that for this app as we will need to build in more functionality down the line and flow won't be an option for that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can build a Teams bot and can extend it to add more functionalities.
