Uninstall SCCM client - Configuration Manager Site System Server

Iron Contributor

Hi,

I have SCCM CB 1906 stand-alone primary site, managing Windows workstation and never used for servers, however SCCM agent installed on site server.

I have the following question:

Is there any impact if I uninstall the client from site system, I didn't found information from Microsoft talking about it?

Hi @Abdul Jalil Abou Alzahab,

It's not a requirement to have the SCCM agent installed on the SCCM server, but there are more pros than cons of having the agent installed, and it's actually standard procedure to have the agent installed for most organizations.

If you have the SCCM agent installed, you can manage the OS like you manage any other OS with all the benefits.

Best regards,
Leon
