SCCM to be used as Asset Management Tool

Hi!

 

Is there any documentation about SCCM to be used as Asset Management tool?

I want to compare it to other asset management tools. Pros and cons and features.

Also is it the same as other Asset management tools? I just searched and find that many asset management tools can be integrated to it.

Hi @christian31,

 

SCCM is a great systems management tool, however its not a great asset management tool, I don't believe there are any documentations of this as SCCM was never intended to be an asset management tool.

Your best shot is to use your favorite search engine and look for blog posts or discussions discussing this, or making comparisons.
