I am trying to get DPM to relay notifications thru SMTP relay server to office365 which is where we are using SMTP to send email. I have the SMTP relay server working when I use powershell to send an email thru it. but no matter how I setup DPM I keep getting authentication error when trying to connect to the SMTP server(id 518). I have followed numerous articles in setting this up but cannot seem to get past this message. Can I get a few more suggestions?
