There are many updates available for SCVMM and the technologies it manages. Staying up to date can be difficult. There is a tool, the
VMMCA
, that will check the configuration and updates installed on the SCVMM Server and any Hosts specified and produce a simple report. This covers a great number of required updates.
Now, how about all the updates that have been released since the VMMCA was last released? Jonathan Jordan published a

that lists all of the updates the VMMCA already checks for as well as those that you will have to verify on your own.
