Yesterday UR2 for System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager was released - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2929891
Included in this update are updated widgets that allow you to create richer dashboard visualizations within Operations Manager. The list of widgets now available are described here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/24133.operations-manager-dashboard-widget...
To install these make sure you follow the KB update instructions to import the required MPBs
(Import the following management packs:
Microsoft.SystemCenter.TFSWISynchronization.mpb, which has the following dependency:
Microsoft.SystemCenter.AlertAttachment.mpb, which should be installed from the SCOM 2012 R2 RTM media.
Management packs are included in the Server component updates in the following path:
%SystemDrive%\Program Files\System Center 2012 R2\Operations Manager\Server\Management Packs for Update Rollups)
The attached document also contains some scenario examples of how to use the Widgets.
Update 04/25/2014 : For those reporting that the widgets did not appear ensure that the MPB (Microsoft.SystemCenter.Visualization.Component.Library.mpb) imports successfully as we have seen cases where this fails on first import. If it fails please retry.
