With all the buzz about our new OpInsights Preview features, many people have been asking questions on the feedback forum with regards to the original Advisor ‘Configuration Assessment’... and what we were going to do with it.
We have been thinking how to evolve the configuration assessment scenario, and today we are launching the first of a set of Assessment Intelligence Packs that you can selectively opt-in and out by workload/technology. This first Assessment Intelligence Pack is for SQL Server:
SQL Assessment Intelligence Pack assesses the risk and health of your SQL Server environments on a regular interval. By default it will scan the SQL systems weekly, and information is presented as a monthly rollup. It provides a prioritized list of recommendations tailored to your deployments. These recommendations are categorized across six focus areas which allows you and your team to:
The recommendations we make are based on the knowledge and experiences gained by our engineers across thousands of customer engagements. Every recommendation provides guidance on why the issue matters to you and how to implement the changes.
Choose focus areas which are most important to your business and track your progress toward running a risk free and healthy environment!
