The MOM 2005 Summary Reporting Pack (SRP) extends the MOM data warehouse to provide long term reports on performance metrics and alerts based on weekly and daily summarization of data. Key reports include Exchange resource and protocol utilization, AD disk utilization and replication latency, OS performance, and generic summary reports for performance counter analysis, alert counts, and alert resolution times. The Summary Reporting Pack increases the performance and reduces the storage resources required for long term reporting with the MOM data warehouse.

The SRP provides generic performance counter and alert data reports and the following management pack specific reports:

·         Active Directory

·         Exchange

·         MOM

·         Windows Base OS

The time needed to run these reports increases minimally even as the MOM Reporting database increases significantly in size. The installation of the MOM 2005 SRP creates new tables in the SystemCenterReporting database, the same database used by MOM 2005 Reporting. More information on SRP and tables created are documented in the SRP Users Guide which you can access when you download SRP from the link above.
