There’s a new app available that you’ll want to check out if you’re needing a quick and easy way to get started learning the basics of System Center 2012 Operations Manager. It’s called the Operations Manager 2012 Learning Roadmap and is available for Windows 8 (x86, x64, ARM) based systems. A colleague of mine recently turned me on to this app and while it is not officially associated with Microsoft in any way I thought it might have some value for any of you who are new to the product.

Description

The Operations Manager 2012 Learning Roadmap continues with the same goal as the Operators Basics Superflow: to provide information that helps front-line operators who are new to Operations Manager get started using the product.

Leveraging Windows 8 Modern User-Interface, the Operations Manager 2012 Learning Roadmap provides a structured and interactive interface for viewing Key Concepts, Getting Started, Navigating Workspaces, and Advanced Monitoring.

The Operations Manager 2012 Learning Roadmap is intended for Operators who are new to System Center 2012: Operations Manager through Level II Support Engineers.

With the ability to search from within the application to snapping the application to the side of your screen, the Operations Manager 2012 Learning Roadmap will be a welcome tool to any up and coming Operations Manager Administrator.
