~ Larry Mosley | Senior Escalation Engineer
We recently had a question about changing isolation levels in the System Center 2012 R2 Operations Manager (OpsMgr 2012 R2) operational and data warehouse databases so I wanted to pass the information along here in case anyone else might be wondering the same thing.
The Operations Manager database already has Snapshot Isolation ON and is configured for ‘Read Committed Snapshot’.
The Datawarehouse (usually OperationsManagerDW) has Snapshot Isolation OFF and is configured for ‘Read Committed’.
We do not test any other configuration.
This also applies to System Center 2012 Operations Manager with or without Service Pack 1 (SP1).
