If you don't already have an RSS feed to Brian's blog, take a moment to check it out.  He's a Principal Consultant out of Long Beach, CA and has done some great work in the Authoring space for OpsMgr.  His blog URL and BIO are posted below.

I'm a Principle Consultant with Microsoft where I have worked since 1996.  I work with customers all over Southern California from my home base in Long Beach and occasionally get out to other states and countries.  Prior to Microsoft, I worked in corporate IT for six years after graduating from USC in 1988.

In addition to working with a variety of infrastructure products and technologies, I’ve spent my entire Microsoft career automating infrastructure tasks using such technologies as VBScript, Windows Script Host, ADSI, WMI, and PowerShell.  I started working with Operations Manager since it was MOM 2000 and have specialized in management pack authoring since that time.  With Operations Manager 2007, I’ve had a chance to design and author management packs for a variety of customers in addition to working with the Operations Manager product team.

This blog will primarily focus on Operations Manager 2007 management pack authoring in addition to automating administrative scenarios with Command Shell.  I may also throw in some entries on more general automation and scripting topics like WMI and PowerShell.
