I am Chinese and I'm trying use Sway. However, it says "A problem occurred while synchronizing Sway. Please try again." I tried to create a new Sway file and failed also. Is it due to the Internet constraint of China?

Hi - I'm not aware of any specific restrictions we're applying to China, but there may be some general Microsoft regulations that are affecting us that I'm not aware of.  Still, I think we have customers using Sway successfully in China - it probably wouldn't have been worth us translating the Sway UI just to say "error" :)

Could you give us a translation of the error messages that appear?  We have a couple of people here who might be able to investigate the problem, but I don't think any Sway team members can read Chinese, and following up through separate Microsoft translation departments could take a while.

Sorry to hear that Sway is not working for you!  Hopefully we can fix that.

Chris

Thanks to the Microsoft Office International Team for checking this one up for us.  They've tried Sway in Chinese and could not reproduce the bug you mentioned.  It sounds like it was an error where Sway couldn't access your content for a short time, which has happened once or twice in the past and isn't specific to the language or region, but those problems should be fixed now.

Let us know if you see any further problems though!

Chris
