Can I use an ext. Dual-WQHD 49" Monitor in full Res (5120x1440) with my Surface Pro 5 LTE ?

Hello,

I have a quick hardware question for the experts here:

I am thinking about to replace 2x 24" Monitors with one large Dual WQHD Widescreen Monitor:

C49RG94SSU Samsung

- Display port 1.4

My Question is:

can i take advantage of the full resolution of 5120x1440 and 120 Hz?

I have a Surface Pro 5 LTE . I may also mention, that i own a surface dock.

Hi Patrick, you would need a surface device with display port 1.4 support to utilize 120Hz. Therefore the Surface Pro 5 wll not be sufficient.
