Brand new Surface Book 3 just fried!

I did months of research and finally decided on purchasing a top of the line Surface Book 3 to the tune of $3,100.00. Not even 60 days later it has frozen, gone blank and black screen. It will not turn on despite anything the Microsoft tech sites suggest. I guess the only alternative is to send it back for a replacement (more than likely someone else's refurbished machine instead of new one) and thus losing all of my data, files, photographs, etc. as well as the hours spent migrating this data from my old HP (that does still work) to the new Surface Book 3 (which doesn't work). So, I guess my issue or ask is does anyone know of any other thing I can possibly try. Or, at least take my $3,100.00 experience as a warning.
