Today we've released updated drivers for the Surface Pro 3. This update includes new drivers for Surface Pro Embedded Controller Firmware and Surface Pro UEFI that improve battery life during sleep and PXE performance on IPv6.
In the name of each of these files you will find a Windows build number, this number indicates the minimum supported build required to install the drivers and firmware contained within. For example, to install the drivers contained in SurfacePro3_Win10_
_1702002_0.msi, you must have Windows 10 Version 1607, the Anniversary Update, or newer installed on your Surface Pro 3. You can find a list of the build numbers for each version of Windows 10 in

Some earlier releases of Surface driver and firmware for Windows 10 do not contain a minimum build number in the file name. These files have a minimum supported build of Build 10240, Windows 10 Version 1507, RTM.
