Surface family May 2019 firmware and drivers update

We released new firmware and drivers updates on May 16, 2019 for all Surface family devices, starting from Surface 3, to Surface Studio 2.
These updates are available for all Surface devices running the Windows 10 May 2019 update, version 1903 or greater.

Please note that firmware updates can’t be uninstalled or reverted to an earlier version.

There are no firmware or drivers updates for Surface Go and Surface Go with LTE Advanced in this round.

@Jonas Back Yes, these updates will become available for installation via Windows update as soon as you update to Windows 10 1903.

@Yoav Barzilay Has firmware support for the Surface running 1809 ceased now that 1903 has been released? 1809 is still listed as under support by Microsoft but we need to make sure that we have the latest security updates and firmware to maintain our Cyber Essentials accreditation, and we would rather not adopt 1903 early.

If 1809 is still under support for the firmware can you give an estimate as the when we can expect to get the update?

Will you ever fix the sleep of death issue that has been plaguing older Surface devices for years? None of your firmware updates have. The most viewed result on YouTube for "Sleep of death surface" now has 52299 views i.e. a lot of people are still affected. The easy fix would of course be to to just give us S3 sleep instead of S0ix, which at least Skylake CPUs support because other manufacturers using it in their laptops understood the potential problems of S0ix and went for S3. But because of your stubborness and arrogant belief that you aren't capable of making mistakes this will never happen. My SP4 was my first and last Microsoft device.
