Surface Hub 2s Microsoft Teams issue

Copper Contributor

Hi

We have two Surface Hub 2s units that are now fully updated and authenticating with Local AD, we have set up the required Resource Accounts  for them.

You can create a Teams meeting (meet now) you can connect and dial in anyone you wish.   If a user schedules a meeting and add the room account it shows the message appointments may be out of date  (see picture below)   and does not show any upcoming meetings in the Teams scheduler window.

We also get an 80013500 Activesync Policy (as its local Exchange still), but we have over 1000 people and room accounts already in existance which work fine.

Many thanks in advance for any thoughts .

because of basic authentication being disable by Microsoft now I would HIGHLY recommend that you do not add these to your domain using onprem AD. Instead join them to your AzureAD and use the resource account with a Teams Rooms license. They work beautifully that way!
You can even manage them with intune if you would centralized and manageable settings and features.
It took me a little while to understand it all and get it set up but it was totally worth it!
