Screenshot / Snapshot not working

Hello Hub Gurus

 

The screenshot/snapshot feature of our Surface Hub is not working.

 

Just want to check if you have experienced this kind of issue and what is the workaround?

 

I have reformatted the hub and it fixed the problem but the issue happens again after a week.

 

Please kindly advise if this is a known issue or bug. Thank you.

I removed the Whiteboard Preview and the screenshot/snapshot is working now. I will try to replicate the issue on the other hubs.
It is confirmed - there is NOW a conflict between the built-in Whiteboard and Whiteboard preview. I tried to install the WB preview on my other hub and screenshot started to fail. Remove the WB preview and screenshot worked. I have opened a case with Microsoft to get a better explanation about the cause.

Did you ever get a reply from Microsoft about this issue? It's something we've just run into here in my organisation, and uninstalling the Whiteboard preview fixed the problem.

As per Microsoft, this is a known bug issue. The workaround is to remove the Whiteboard Preview for the snapshot to work.

 

Hopefully, the known bug will be fix on the next major windows update.
