MS Teams / Skype for Business for Surface Hub

Copper Contributor

Hello,

recently my Outlook got an update and it replaced the Skype for Business Meetings with Microsoft Teams Meetings. So I made a test meeting with MS Teams Meeting and try to get it connected with Surface Hub and I can not join from the Hub to the test meeting.

So I downloaded amnd installed the app MS Teams from the Hub app store, but the app itself doesn't appear in the app list. The only way to find and launching it is to go to settings / device management / app & features / open the store / search for MS teams and launch this app from there. Also MS Teams doesn't launch, either it crashes or it has a grew/white screen.

So when Skype for Business is now beeing replaced with MS Teams, how do I get rid or replace it with MS Teams on the Hub?

Any idea how to fix this? I also updated the hub recently.

Hi David

You'll need to ensure that your Surface Hub's device account has a Microsoft Teams license. After that, follow the instructions in this documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/teams-surface-hub
