Moving a Hub 2S from Teams Room Standard to Teams Room Pro

Brass Contributor

Anyone reading this can share their experience moving a Hub 2s from Teams Room Standard to Pro. It is showing up in M365 Admin as having a Pro license however on TAC it is still listed using the old license. Is there anything else that require to be done am I missing any steps

To my understanding, you have done all you needed to do. It might take some time to populate to TAC.
@LarsBerlau you are correct patiently waiting resolved the license issue

Now I don't know how to onboard the Hub on the pro management portal device reports as onboarding.

The provided documentation is only applicable for MTR's
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/rooms/enroll-a-device
Surface Hub in Pro Portal is not available yet. But as I remember it should be in the end of the year.

@LarsBerlau I was able to enroll the hub once you go into the teams room portal and click on the listed device it opens up an extended information window and on the bottom left corner is the blue Enroll button. onboarding status is not there anymore.

I also noticed Microsoft Managed Rooms Agent for Surface Hub installed as an app on the hub

@brajan, Great to hear. Hub should be available in December, so guess you were one of the lucky ones, that got it early
