Cannot use Miracast with Surface Hub on PCs that are not in the same domain

Copper Contributor

Hello Community,

I own a Surface Hub 1 84" running Windows 10 Team 2022 (10.0.19045.2193). All features work fine except for Miracast, which doesn't function when the source PC is not on the same domain. When attempting to project the screen onto the Surface Hub using Ctrl-K, we receive the following message:

"Protected content cannot be viewed on this device."

For devices in the same domain, they work correctly whether on the same Wi-Fi network on Surface hub or on a 4/5G network shared via mobile. Therefore, I think the problem is related to windows security restrictions rather than network.

Thank you for your help.
